Since breaking into the industry in 2015, Maine Civil has grown to become one of the leading civil contractors in Central Victoria.Maine Civil is proud to be locally owned and operated and most importantly we employ local labor, local subcontractors and back local businesses wherever we can.

The head office and workshop are located in East Bendigo. With 40+ experienced employees and 35+ major plant and trucks operating, Maine Civils capabilities to deliver large civil infrastructure projects for developers and local authorities has increased.

We maintain a large suite of our own plant and equipment including 1.7t-30t Excavators, Graders, Backhoes, Front-End Loaders, Dump trucks, Road trucks and trailers, Water trucks, Rollers and more.

Who are we

At Maine Civil we have a dedicated project delivery team that are experienced in delivering projects within budget and on time. The two company Directors have a combined 60+ years of Civil Construction experience. Furthermore, we have experienced, trained and qualified personnel including, a Construction Superintendent, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, OH&S Officer, Project Leaders, Operators and Labourers that are more than capable of delivering projects of any size and specification.

Plant Hire

Maine Civil owns over 35 items of heavy construction plant. Our current fleet includes Excavators from 1.7t to 30t (GPS Control), Graders (GPS Control), Rollers, Scrapers, Backhoes, Loaders, Articulated Moxy and Skid Steers which are all available for wet or dry hire.

Logistics & Haulage

Maine Civil are available for your transport needs from heavy floats, tag trailers, tip truck and trailer combinations and water cartage.

Drake 4x4 Deck Widener can float up to 47 tonne
12t Tipper and Tandem Tag Float can float up to 14 tonne
Truck and Trailer combinations including quad dog trailers or a semi tipper
6,000L, 10,000L and 12,000L water trucks

Maine Civil is an externally audited and systems certified contractor, meeting the requirements of the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) Construction management code, inclusive of Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety and Quality Management.
