In 2015, the managing directors George Hodoras and Dane Radakovic started a civil construction company in Castlemaine focused on small subdivisions and land development projects. Through their ability to provide quality workmanship, competitive rates, and deliver outstanding results the company experienced rapid growth. Today Maine Civil is established as a leading civil contractor in Central Victoria.

The head office and workshop are now located in East Bendigo. With more staff and earthmoving equipment than ever before, Maine Civil's capabilities have grown to delivering large civil infrastructure projects for developers and local authorities in the Central Victorian region.

Maine Civil is an externally audited and systems certified contractor, meeting the requirements of the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) Construction management code, inclusive of Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety and Quality Management.
